Absztrakt:

Despite the rise of dual-earner households, gendered disparities in domestic labor remain entrenched. This lecture delves into the economic choices, cultural stories, and cognitive patterns that contribute to the persistence of these inequalities. Drawing on research from multiple fields, the talk will explore how external opportunities, societal expectations, and individual biases combine to shape the unequal division of labor at home.
