The effect of agricultural and rural development policy on local small-scale agrifood production

The objective of the research is to understand the role of FSP and small scale food production in rural and agricultural restructuring. 
Both traditional forms of FSP and small scale food production changed and new, post-modern forms of FSP and small scale food production appeared. The research aims at analysing the relationship of traditional and post-modern types of FSP and small scale food production.
In the last decades, decision-makers and planners in policy documents, strategies refer to small scale agriculture, and FSP as an important form of agricultural activity, and as a favourable possibility. According to the assumption of the research a deeper analysis of agricultural and rural development strategies and the analysis of the distribution of subsidies would show that these forms of agricultural activities are not favourable. The research also aims at presenting that in the last decades there has been a continuous controversy between the declared aims of agricultural and rural policy formulation and the realization of these policies concerning FSP and small scale-agriculture. 
According to it the following research questions were formulated:
How can be described FSP and small scale food production?
Which forms of FSP and small scale food-production appear in contemporary Hungary? 
How FSP and small scale food production appears in policy making?
What role can FSP and small scale food-production play in rural development processes, in the development of local economy?
